This 911R race car looks like an ordinary everyday 911 except when you look closely at parts that only look stock. The front and rear hoods are fiberglass, the engine case is magnesium, the doors are aluminum, and the list goes on. This series of twenty cars made in 1967 were about 500 pounds lighter than their street counterparts and considerably faster. About ten of these cars remain and just this one and one other are still driven on the track.
