The Monterey Jazz Festival has an annual competition to pick the best high school jazz bands in the country to play at the festival in September. This single camera video is primarily just to document the winning bands every year but we thought it would be great to pick a song from various bands over the years so you could see just how good they are. We start this series with "After You're Gone" by the 1999 Monterey High School Gold Jazz Band. You'll notice a young Milton Fletcher on piano.
