T.V. & FILM STAR DOUG McCLURE
...fresh from his starring role in "The Virginian", visited Big Sur on many occasions and was friends with filmmaker Robert Blaisdell who asked him to be the on-camera narrator for the film. McClure had a home on the Monterey Peninsula during much of his career in Hollywood and was contemplating moving back permanently before his untimely death in January of 1995.We will be changing content on this page from time to time so please check back! |
