Part three features Mark Kelley on bass and James Williams on drums. Rob Hayes, director of public information at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, brought four musicians, Milton Fletcher, piano (a Monterey High School Grad), Walter Smith, sax, Mark Kelley, bass, and James Williams, drums (another local) back to the Monterey Peninsula to play a few gigs and appear at the Monterey Jazz Festival High School Band competition. We caught their performance at the Jazz and Blues Company in Carmel.
